True Zone FAQ

What is the True Zone?

The True Zone is a dynamic state of balance and alignment across five domains of wellness: Lifestyle, Biological, Social, Environmental/Financial, and Medical Wellness. It reflects how well these areas are working together to support your overall well-being. The True Zone is not about perfection but about progress and sustainability in your wellness journey.

How is the True Zone measured?

The True Zone is measured using a comprehensive assessment that scores each domain of wellness. Scores range from A (Excellent) to D (Critical Improvement Needed). You’ll also receive an average score across all domains, giving you a clear picture of your overall wellness.

What does my score mean?

What does my score mean?

  • A (Excellent): This domain is fully aligned with your True Zone. Continue to maintain your habits.
  • B (Good): You’re doing well in this domain with minor areas for improvement.
  • C (Moderate): This domain needs focused attention and consistent effort to improve.
  • D (Critical): Significant challenges exist in this domain, and immediate action is recommended.

If I score a C in all domains, does that mean I’m balanced?

A C score across all domains indicates a type of balance, but it reflects moderate challenges in all areas. While you’re evenly distributed, you may not be thriving or achieving true alignment. Ideally, your True Zone involves a mix of A’s and B’s, with targeted effort in weaker domains to lift your overall wellness.

What happens if I score a D in one domain?

A D score indicates significant challenges in that area that require immediate attention. For example:

  • If you score a D in Lifestyle Wellness, you might need to prioritize habits like regular exercise or better sleep.
  • If you score a D in Medical Wellness, it may indicate gaps in healthcare access or adherence to treatment plans.

Your assessment will provide actionable recommendations to help improve this domain.

How can I improve my True Zone score?

Improving your score starts with small, consistent actions. The REACH Wellness Method™ offers tailored recommendations for each domain based on your assessment results. Examples include:

    • Adding 10 minutes of physical activity daily (Lifestyle Wellness).
    • Scheduling a healthcare check-up (Medical Wellness).
    • Engaging with a community group or friend (Social Wellness)

.

Is it possible to be in my True Zone in some domains but not others?

Yes! It’s common to have strengths in certain domains and challenges in others. The goal is to identify these areas and take steps to bring all domains into alignment over time. Your strongest domains can serve as a foundation to support growth in weaker areas.

How often should I take the True Zone Assessment?

We recommend taking the assessment every 3–6 months to track your progress and adjust your wellness plan. Regular reassessment helps you see improvements and identify new areas for growth.

What if my score doesn’t improve?

Wellness is a journey, and progress isn’t always linear. If your score doesn’t improve, it may indicate that:

  • You need to adjust your approach.
  • External factors (e.g., stress, life changes) are impacting your wellness.
  • Additional support or resources may be helpful.

The REACH Wellness Method™ is here to guide you, with tools, resources, and expert advice tailored to your needs.

What makes the True Zone different from other wellness assessments?

The True Zone is holistic, combining objective metrics with subjective feedback to capture not just what you’re doing, but how you feel about it. It emphasizes the balance of effort and ease, ensuring your wellness journey is both effective and sustainable. The assessment integrates seamlessly with the REACH Wellness Method™, offering personalized recommendations and gamified progress tracking.
